I created five covers inspired by a made up theme.

 

In order to create thaht theme, I mixed two words in one to create a new word with a new meaning:

 

Bordambule (curbstone walker) = bordure (curbstone) + funambule (tightrope walker)

The Bordambule could have been as well a child girl or a boy so I decided that the main caracter has to be neutral but childlike.

 

 

 

I used two techniques vectors and linocut (for main caracter and background).

Bordambule = Bordure + Funambule

It prefers walk on the curbstones than walk on the pavement.

Whatever happens it can't touch the ground.

It dreams to be a thighrope walker but has vertigo.

If there isn't any curbstones left to walk on, it retraces its steps.

Curbstones walker is a person who enjoy to walk on curbstones.
